38 Week Dr. Appt.

Michael had the afternoon off unexpectantly, so he called me as I was approaching the Chenoa exit, he caught me just in time to meet him in Chenoa so he could come along to the appointment.  I thought this appointment they were going to do all the measurements and etc. but they just checked my fluid. So here is how the appointment went:

• Fluid is good
• I was hooked up to a monitor to measure contractions and his heartbeat.  I was having contractions, nothing consistent.
• Deb checked me and I am dilated to 1.5 and 80% thinned.  She thinks this little guy will be here before his due date.  I'm to the point now where I am okay with that, I'm so over being preggo.  However, I would like to make it through at least the weekend, I still have so much stuff I need to do, like get my kitchen organized. :)
• I go back next Weds. unless something happens before then.  So now we just start the waiting game I guess.

37 Week Dr. Appt.

I saw Dr. Gratkins today and it was a really quick appointment.  I first had an U/S to check my fluid level which is back up, so weird considering I didn't hardly rest at all this past weekend.  I asked the tech what he was weighing, she never gave me a number but estimated him to be in the high 8's to 9 if I go two more weeks. Big boy on our hands perhaps?  Time will tell I suppose.  He didn't even check me because I haven't really been having any cramping or any signs of labor I guess.. haha I feel so dumb when they ask me but this is my first so I have no idea what to expect. :) I go back next Wednesday and Deb will check me then, and maybe talk about the size of this baby and see what she suggests.  He is still head down which is good, and the tech said lots of hair, so we'll see what she means by lots. Other than that thats about all that took place at this appointment. 


Our furniture is being delivered Saturday!!! ahh I never thought the time would come.  Its coming in the early afternoon, so Michael and I have lottttts of cleaning to do before it arrives.  Michael also got the crib put up Sunday so I'm hoping to get Brocks room organized this weekend and get everything situated.  We sill need to put the pack n play up and the swing. I'm hoping for a verrrry productive weekend so next weekend we can relax and enjoy just it being the two of us. :)

I'm hoping to get some update pictures of the house posted, it has changed SOOO much! I've been horrible with this, I still have some on my camera I took probably a month ago, I will post those also. :) And hopefully a belly pic, I've been slacking on those too.  It's just crazy around here.

36 Weeks & Dr. Appt.

Pregnancy Highlights:

How Far Along: 36 Weeks

Gender: BOY- Brock :)

Maternity Clothes: Yes, some.

Weight gain:  23 lbs!

Movement: Yes, lots.

Sleep: Wake up to pee at least twice sometimes 3 times...

Stretch Marks: None

Symptoms: Just tired...

Cravings: Ice cream, grilled cheese sandwiches

Aversions: Nothing really I can think of.

What I miss: sleeping through the night and being able to lay however I want.

Best moment this week:  Seeing my sweet little boy on the U/S today, I'll have to upload some of the pictures my favorite tech got! :) I was so happy to see her when my name was called today! She always gives me tons of pictures.

So here are the updates/stats from my appointment today:

•  My fluid level is back down to a 10, she wanted me to cut back work to half days and I begged her to give me until next week.  If its still low next week I'll let her win and go to only half days. So lots of resting for me this week/end. Well between the loads of laundry.
• He may be a big boy, he was weighing in at 7 lbs 3 oz. today according to the U/S- I do realize that these aren't 100 percent accurate thats why I said **may**..
• I also don't know if they are going to let me go past 39 weeks, they said they would check his size again in 2 weeks and then we'll go from there! Yikes, I can hear the clock ticking. THANK GOD CARPET IS BEING INSTALLED TOMORROW!! I'm hoping the crib will be put up and NOT damaged by the end of the weekend. :)
